On-shore Wind Power U-turn

The Government’s target of net zero emissions by 2050 is a tall order and one that required a u-turn on previous decisions regarding the subsidies to onshore wind energy. The huge benefit of wind energy is that it is very low carbon and renewable. The manufacturing of parts and installation of the turbines and related infrastructure does have an initial carbon footprint; however, over a general 25 year lifespan of the turbines, they are very low carbon. FALCO Ecology welcomes the news regarding subsidies and on-shire wind developments.

At FALCO Ecology we have the team and expertise to provide a range of ecological services for wind energy projects with over a decade of experience. If you would like discuss your ecological requirements then we would be more than happy to assist.
