A nice mid-morning above the River Tyne undertaking monitoring of peregrines today. FALCO Ecology are providing expert peregrine advice and monitoring surveys for Arup and BAM Nuttall. The ecological surveys are part of a major infrastructure overhaul of the King Edward Bridge in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Unfortunately this years breeding attempt failed. Both adults were observed perched together on a nearby bridge. The female is colour ringed and is believed to have originated from Norwich Cathedral.
